The Testing and Certification body of the Ship safety division ("Dienststelle Schiffssicherheit") is one of the notified bodies in Germany authorized by the Federal ministry of transport, building and urban affairs to certifiy life saving appliances, fire protection material and fire protection equipment als well as equipment for the prevention of marine pollution. The demand for certification has continuously increased in the past years, in particular concerning fire protection issues. EC type approval certificates and approval of new life saving systems, as our experts are sought-after partners not only in Germany but also internationally.
